1. Hardworking (devoted): She / He is
very hardworking at his/her work, and she
/he treat her/his work very seriously and
ca0refully, like when she/he received an
invitation of performing/ to give a speech in
the famous TV show on CCTV, she/he
stayed up late to prepare two classic songs /
to prepare for an speech which is about
how to be successful. Her/his hard- working
attitude motivates me to be more devoted
to my job and more confident when facing
different kinds of obstacles in the daily life.

she donated millions of RMB/dollars to
quite a few charities, and we can always see

Wenchuan earthquake, not only did he/she
donate large amount of money, but also
took a part in the Wenchuan earthquake
charity gala to promote others to donate money to help the victims. ）(foreigner:

are in high pressure studying and working

There are some local food（dumplings） and
local people is nice and warm hearted.

A large amount of trees stands there together, so the air there is also very fresh.
Also, there is a small river nearby; you can
see the river meets the mountain in the
distance. There is a mild climate with
distinct seasons. It makes me feel relaxed

facilities, like you can play drifting there,
you know this sport is very exciting and also
can test your courage. You can start from
the upper reaches of the mountain which
means start beside the Confucius academy
room and then finish it on the lower

friends: I can invite my friends to my
room to have a party. I really like party very
much, especially the party held with my
friends. We always play some music like the
songs sung by our favorite band pixies in the
party, and we will also watch the recent popular movies, like Eclipse. We really enjoy
ourselves and also release our stresses
here.
er: I can play computer in my room,
and go surfing the internet. The internet not
only enables me to know the latest news
like about the flooding in the northeast of
the China, but also provides a large amount
of academic information in order to help me
finish my English project.
Experience( Toefl IBT):
to pass, at the same time improve skills:
toefl is a tough language exam because it
test your reading, listening, speaking and
writing skills at the same time which means
your comprehensive ability. Although I have
done a lousy job once, but toefl exam really
improves my English skills, and also it gives
me an opportunity to practice English skills
which I cannot practice a lot in my daily life,
like I can practice speaking from the official guide, and in my daily life it’s impossible
for me to get a great chance like that.
to use time efficiently: Last time, I only
had three months to prepare for the toefl
test; obviously, three months are not
enough to get a high mark. So during these
hard times, I tried to organize my remaining
time. I made a schedule for myself like
spent two hours to memorize the
vocabulary and spent one hour to practice
writing an integrated essay. Through
preparing for Toefl exam, I learnt how to
manage my time efficiently.
Subject (book):
most useful book to me is a magazine
called focus which is published monthly.
There are many introductions of the new
technologies in various academic fields such
as Chemistry, Geography, Biology,
Psychology and Engineering in this
magazine. , the content include some famous
professors’ critical articles which really
broad my vision. I really like famous
psychologist Spinazo’s writing in this book.
He teaches me to understand others and be
optimistic when facing the obstacles in my
life. Now we live under the high pressure, so
his words really motivate me to continue

because by keeping reading this book, I
acknowledge quite a few advanced
technologies specifically and also how to
keep an optimistic attitude when

useful language, and speak English fluently
can be a strength which can make you more
competitive, like my dream is to work in
some international companies such as IBM,
Google. So, it is necessary for me to
improve my English skills.

American songs movies and TV shows like
gossip girls and desperate housewives. So I
decide to learn English in order to
understand what they are talking about,
and at the same time, I can know more
about their culture through learning their
language, like there are many English words
are from Latin. I am so curious about this, so
I choose to learn more about English not
just for words and sentences.
Transportation (innovation): (subway)
ent: I think subway is the most efficient
transportation in the city. Subway is underground system which doesn’t have
any traffic jam even in rush hours on the
ground. So this might be the first choice for
those commuters who have to get to work
on time.
ient: Also, the subway often covers
the most important places and areas of
each city so it’s very convenient for people
to travel from one place to another. It takes
the least time to get the place we want to
go to than taking any other transportation.
And each train could carry a lot of people,
which can also improve the efficiency.
